The current system of federal statisti, which remains focused on traditional nosological approaches, does not accept the information needs of geriatrics in the context of demographic aging. This leads to problems with objective planning of geriatric care, long-term care, and the implementation of effective preventive strategies. Therefore, there is an urgent need to modernize statistical accounting for patients in older age groups, which will help improve the efficiency of geriatric care.
