The problem of diagnosis and treatment of elderly and senile patients in modern conditions is becoming more and more relevant. With age, the frequency of occurrence of mineral and bone disorders, osteoporosis and its complications increases. The most significant factor in the elderly is falls and fractures. In this regard, it is important to develop an algorithm for laboratory monitoring of these disorders in elderly and senile patients. The aim of this study is to develop monitoring of laboratory diagnostics of the syndrome of bone and mineral disorders in elderly and senile patients of surgical profile. The paper provides an idea of biomarkers that have potential clinical significance for the diagnosis of bone-mineral disorders and osteoporosis.
