We present the research of elderly patients’ with discirculatory encephalopathy quality of life dynamics during treatment in the department of neurology of multi-faceted hospital. Health-related quality of life was examined with SF-36 scale on the day of admission, the day of retirement and one month after retirement. It was elicted that quality of life was decreased in all scales in both groups before treatment. At the end of therapeutic course statistically valid positive dynamics was documented by all scales. One month after retirement a significant decreasement of all scores approximately up to original values was estimated in the group of elderly patients.
