Summary:
This article substantiates the need for a new staff position in primary health care — a Health Prevention Coach, integrating competencies in pre-medical functional diagnostics, exercise physiology, and wellness counseling. The analysis reveals an existing gap between the medical prevention system and the fitness industry, which leads to an increase in non-communicable comorbidity, premature aging, and negative demographic trends. The American model of the Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) is examined as a partial prototype; however, it requires a significant expansion of authority to enable autonomous primary screening and fitness clearance. The diagnostic toolkit is described in detail, allowing the Health Prevention Coach to independently determine health status groups and prescribe comprehensive preventive programs, including fitness, nutritional correction, nutraceutical support, phytotherapy, homeopathy, sleep optimization, and modification of socio-environmental factors. A comparative analysis of the new specialist's functions with those of a physical therapy instructor and a fitness trainer is provided. It is demonstrated that the introduction of such a specialist can help normalize the demographic situation, extend the period of active age, and slow the development of comorbidity.
Keywords active longevity, noncommunicable diseases, health prevention coach, primary health care, functional diagnostics, risk stratification, fitness, nutraceuticals
