The article discusses polymorbidity as a common clinical phenomenon in geriatric medicine. A new classification of polymorbidity markers is presented, including clinical, biochemical, instrumental, functional, and generalizing (mathematical) markers. Taking these features into account will allow the clinic to conduct a more targeted comprehensive geriatric assessment and improve the quality of medical and rehabilitation measures.
