Summary:
Stroke is the most important medical and social problem due to its high prevalence in the structure of morbidity and mortality in the population. Movement disorders are the most common consequences of stroke and lead to a pronounced limitation of vital activity and self-care in this category of patients. Despite the timely assistance provided in primary hospital, patients after stroke are often sent to the second stage of rehabilitation with a pronounced neurological deficit, which drastically limits their mobility, daily activities and self-care. One of the important tasks of the rehabilitation of patients after cerebrovascular accident is the restoration of basic self-care skills, which will reduce dependence on others, affect the expressiveness of maladaptation and improve the quality of life of patients. A literature review was carried out on the physical methods of rehabilitation of the aged people. This article presents the clinical features of motor disorders in stroke, as well as the features of the physical rehabilitation of the aged people, which will reduce the possibility of developing a persistent neurological deficit in the aged people after stroke.
Keywords strok, rehabilitation, robotic mechanotherapy, occupational therapy.
