The relevance of the topic of ageism is due to its high prevalence in modern society and the health sector in particular. The aging population makes the need to understand the problem of ageism all over the world even more urgent. Adopting a widespread negative attitude toward aging contributes to the risk of mortality, poor functional health, and slower recovery from illness.
