At the same time, not enough attention is paid to the slowly progressing impairment of cognitive functions, this happens against the background of solving more global, life-threatening conditions for the patient. Delirium is defined as acute psychosis, cerebrovascular disease, dyscirculatory disease, encephalopathy, etc. Errors in terminology represent a real reflection of the inability to diagnose delirium, and therefore correctly and timely stop it, which leads to a deterioration in the final results
