Summary:
Arterial hypertension is a serious problem of modern geriatrics. The growth of patients with hypertension in recent decades has attracted huge attention from the medical community. The search for ways to diagnose and treat arterial hypertension in elderly patients is becoming increasingly urgent. In order to study the features of the use and effectiveness of renal denervation as a method of treatment of resistant essential arterial hypertension in elderly and senile patients, this study was conducted. It has been shown that performing renal denervation in elderly and senile patients for the treatment of resistant essential hypertension is as effective and safe as in patients of younger age groups.
