Summary:

Propaedeutics of geriatrics is a comprehensive geriatric assessment, that is, the use of a battery of questionnaires and scales, as a result of which it becomes possible to identify geriatric syndromes and develop special treatment and rehabilitation tactics to maintain high functionality of the elders. The proposed training manual summarizes for the first time the most common and easy-to-use questionnaires and scales designed for screening assessment of the condition of a geriatric patient, identification of geriatric syndromes, the level of resilience and the quality of the living environment.
