In the article, on the basis of literature data, possible ways of solving the problem of chronic pain syndrome in dorsopathy in the elderly with polymorbidity are shown. It has been found that back pain is one of the most common complaints in elderly and senile people. This circumstance is due to an increase in degenerative-dystrophic changes with increasing age of patients, a deterioration in metabolism, a violation of the trophism of the intervertebral disc. Consequently, there is a need to relieve pain at the initial stage of seeking medical help to exclude "chronic pain", deterioration in the quality of life of patients. Considering the fact that people of older age groups are characterized by a combination of various diseases (polymorbidity), which predetermines the need to take several groups of drugs (affecting different links of pathogenesis), there is a need for deprescribing to prevent polypharmacy.
