In order to assess the level of stress and anxiety for judging adaptive reserves of the organism in aging persons in 66 elderly stress indicators are defined on a scale ShCherbatyh Y. (2006) and levels of personal and reactive anxiety by Spielberger-Hanina. Found that the progression of age-related decline in aging developed stress. Dominant pessimistic nature of the elderly is mainly determined by resolution of the stressful situation in a negative way. High levels of personal and reactive anxiety in elderly and senile indicate depletion of their reserves adaptation under the influence of stress factors determining the formation of the third stage of stress by H. Selye.
