UNRESOLVED PROBLEMS OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE REHABILITATION HELP FOR THE PATIENTS WHO HAVE HAD SURGICAL OPERATIONS

Summary:
The analysis of unresolved problems on the organization of the rehabilitation help for the patients who have had surgical operations has been carried out. After leaving the hospital, the interrogated respondents who need further supervision and treatment are: inhabitants of the cities - 84, 2%, inhabitants of urban settlements /villages - 75-77%. Patients who are willing to continue their treatment and who worry about their health after leaving the hospital are considerably less: 69,3% of patients living in the city worry about rehabilitation after leaving the hospital, 54,8% inhabitants of urban settlements and 37,6% inhabitants of villages worry about independent continuation of treatment after leaving the hospital. For effective and continuous rehabilitation, patients having surgical operations need sanatorium treatment (according to indications). Place at the sanatorium which costs more than 20 000 rubles can be paid only by 5.3% of patients leaving in the city, inhabitants of urban settlements can't pay for it, while only 6.3 respondents living in the village can do it. Definition of these problems will help to focus attention of workers of practical public health services on them.
